My name is Bruce Poinsette. I am a freelance writer who contributes weekly articles to The Skanner News Group. I’ve previously worked as a columnist for the Lake Oswego Review and the Oregon Daily Emerald. I believe knowledge is important so I try to share what’s on my mind and what’s going on around the world to help foster discussion. What good is learning if you aren’t applying and sharing it with others?

I post throughout the week because I know people are always looking for information. This page includes musings, more traditional journalistic pieces, musical analysis, book reviews and even some aggregate news.
